Some new designs to share, though again it has taken a while to get around to it. Of course I really have been busy, so many cakes and so little time!

Wedding Cake

I have invariably fallen behind with the blogging and so this one was for my first wedding this year in March. Quite simple and elegant. The flowers were supplied by the bride.

Wedding Cake

Zebra Print Cake

Zebra-print Cake

This one was relatively easy, white cake, covered with some-what random strips of black paste. I hadn't planned on butteflies at the start, but when I put the ribbon on it I realized the colour matched so well that it seemed silly to make flowers. The purchased these lovely butterflies from Rainbow Sugarcraft, and as they were available in other colours I got some pink ones this week. It seems just as well too, I have now been asked to make this cake for an 18th birthday - in pink!

Horse's Head

Horse Cake

This one didn't photograph too well, you can see the cake fine of course, but there was a message underneath it reading "Happy 50th". I really need to check my photos before the cake gets delivered or collected, eh?

18th Birthday Cakes

You have none for ages, then 2 come along at once. Both were pretty fun to make, but I have learned that making ribbon decorations is not actually very easy! I think I could have done with some wired ribbon? Maybe...

Was also really pleased with how this little guy came out:
